My Story

Let’s celebrate life by creating ART!

About The Artist

Hello, My Name is Anita Toncheva-Niasi

I was born and raised in Bulgaria. I received a Bachelor's degree in Animation and Illustration from NBU. In 2012-2013, I was awarded a full scholarship from the "America for Bulgaria" Foundation under the "Bulgarian Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs" (BYLP) program, allowing me to study for an academic year at Kent State University in Ohio, USA.

Since 2009, I have actively participated, organized, and led workshops and groups for national and international youth exchange projects, as well as community projects involving minority groups, migrants, refugees, and individuals with mental or physical challenges. These projects use art, theater, sports, and music activities, spanning across Europe and the USA.

From Art projects Director to Art Teacher

Subsequently, I worked as a graphic designer for an international social media marketing company. I also served as a movie director, animator, book writer, and illustrator for my own animated TV series, “Adventures of Lilly: The Little Turtle.”

My artworks have been showcased in contemporary art exhibitions both in Bulgaria and China. Presently, I am employed as a Visual Arts teacher at an IB international high school in Nanjing, China.

A firm believer that a good mentor generously shares their knowledge with everyone, I invite you to join me in celebrating life through the creation of art!
